Project: Accelerating Time to Value in User Onboarding
Our free trial users weren't experiencing the product's core value quickly enough, leading to drop-off. The goal was to optimize our onboarding journey to reduce the Time to Value (TtV), defined as the time it takes a new user to send their first traffic.
By meticulously mapping the existing customer journey, I identified key points of friction and complexity. The solution was a streamlined, guided onboarding flow that simplified setup and focused users on the single most important action. This project involved creating a detailed customer journey map, wireframing a new flow, and designing high-fidelity screens for each step.
Key Result: The new design significantly decreased the average time to first traffic sent, directly impacting user activation and trial conversion rates.
